Community Outreach
The Toronto Windsurfing Club is committed to outreach to the
community. As part of this, we partner with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto organization (BBBST) to provide a day at the club for youth who may otherwise not have
such opportunities. This is a chance for inner city young people to
expand their horizons and learn about themselves as well as discover
the joy of being on the water.
The Toronto Windsurfing Club is proud to be working with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto organization (BBBST). The Big Brothers and Big Sisters organization is well-recognized and through our association with the BBBST, the integrity, profile, and community goodwill of TWC are greatly enhanced. By giving back to the community the Youth Outreach Program is one that TWC members can be proud of.
Our mandate is to be open to the whole community. In this regard, we
seek to provide opportunities for people who may otherwise be unable
to share in the sport. Our fee structure reflects this.
W are offering a summer youth program in addition to our
regular classes. We hope to keep fees at or below levels of other
comparable camps.
We continue to invite participation by all members of the community,
bearing in mind the restrictions offered by the sport itself.
If you know of a organisation or are in an organisation that would
like to be involved in our community outreach program, please contact
our coordinator for further details and learn how to participate in it.
